First change the improper fraction to a proper fraction by changing 7/4 into what?
If you take 4 out of 7 how many do you have left?
well ive already done some work and i think the answe r is c
It is not C. You do get 3 when you subtract 7-4, but you can not change your denominator. So you would get 1 3/4 + 2 which is?
You don't need to change your denominator on simple addition problems.
