Slow time, so does anyone want to learn or just get answers?
Some yes and some no. You can usually tell by the way the question is posted. If it's basic algebra I usually just give the answers unless they ask for steps.
From an optimist's perspective, I think everyone wants to learn, but some might need answers due to time issue.
Yea, I was very happy when I asked how I got the answers, but most don't even seem to care.
"Time issue" sounds like me back when I was looking how to do algebra, last minute things
and I usually put after the answer "post if you need explanation." I don't think most who just want answers are on a time constraint. I think they are taking an online courses and just want answers because they hate math.
Just an easy way out. Thats how I feel about it, but with easier math problems I see a lot of repition and I wish people would just try to get the hang of it cause it'd make it easier for the rest of their problems.
like the question below. that person didn't even try the problem first. you can tell "kaitlyn" just wants answers. Yeah when I recognize the same name posting the same problems again and again with no effort to understand the material, I lose a little faith. But some do care, so I stay on here.
See I do about the same, the person meow yesterday just wanted answer so I helped him w/ answer and tried to explain. The person pokemon today took what I helped him with and went to help others, it was a boost of confidence.
When I find someone mass posting, such as the previously mentioned kaitlynw, I'll answer the first few I see, then deliberately skip any others that are the same type of problem. I usually type out a brief explanation of what is going on, so they can figure out the other stuff on their own.
