A ball is kicked and flies from point P to Q following a parabolic path in which the highest point reached is T. The acceleration of the ball is

The acceleration of the ball is (assuming there is gravity) constant. It doesn't matter at all where the ball started, ended, or its vertex. After the system is set in motion (the ball is kicked) the only force acting on the ball is gravity. Because Force/Mass = Acceleration, none of the other variables have any significance.
