*HELP!!!!!* What is the maximum possible number of acute angles in a triangle? Can a triangle have no acute anles? Explain your reasoning. *HELP!!!!*

myininaya (myininaya):

think of an equilateral triangle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no, triangle must have at least one acute angle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thx.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In addition to myininaya, a triangle is 180 degrees. therefore, the angles must be 60 degrees. if there are two obtuse angles, it would be more than 90 degress each, which surpasses the 180 degrees. so there must be one acute angle, like what forever_young said.

OpenStudy (phi):

All triangles must have at least 2 acute angles. Acute angles are less than 90 degrees.
