one is saying it is 45 minutes the other is saying it is 3/4 of an hour.
45/60 = 3/4

they are the same thing. One is looking at how many minutes and the other is looking at what fraction of an hour

seconds is the normal. However, with this problem... Minutes and Hours make more sense.
