A role model is someone whose qualities you wish to poses.  Achievements, character traits, and personality are some of what people should look for in a role model.  How does your role model measure up?
A person's achievements can say a lot about them.  Did they do well in high school?  Did they attend college?  Did they write a book?  Do they have children?  Think of what you want for yourself, and look for that in a role model.
It is also important for a role model to have similar character traits as yourself.  Are you affectionate and caring?  Are you generous?  Are you kind to animals?  These are the things to look for in your role model.
Lastly, a good role model will also have a similar personality as yourself.  Do you have a sense of humor?  Are you quiet?  Are you people-oriented?   Look for these things in a role model.
In conclusion, you should consider several factors when choosing your role model. Simply being famous does not make someone a good role model.  Achievements, character traits, and personality are very important.
