Suggestion: A disagree button.

I have had a few situations over in the math area where I will see a wrong answer that has been given a medal. It can be a bit difficult to alert people that something might be off.

I can understand wanting to maintain an environment that is always positive, but I think it would be beneficial if there was a way to respectfully disagree with others.

Yes, that's a good idea. There is a report abuse button but that is to report any vulgar comments etc. to the moderator. But there is no fault in the person who posted the wrong answer, such mistakes happen. You could just reply to the post and tell why you think the person's answer is wrong and post the correct answer.

It is better to state the correct solution.  Later on someone will eventually give you a medal and might become one of your fans.

exactly. a disagree button is a good idea, but not if you give it a medal, as those certain people who go around typing nonsense in reply to an actual problem may also abuse the disagree button by saying disagree to every single discussion or question.
