math is fairly universial! the only thing is that some conuntries may value other parts of math so they are taught certain things more than kids of other countries. oh and of course units of measurements differ between us and other conuntries :)

In the unites states. Math curriculum varies from state to state. The US is ranked low amongst other countries.

rob_t is right about math being lazy here in the states. For instance, in Singapore, the high school students learn symbolic logic and discrete math regularly, and in India, there is some higher level combinatorics in high school.
