Which of the following is true of modern cell theory? (A)As technology improves, so will our understanding of cells. (B)Early cell theory has turned out to be incorrect. (C)Multi-celled organisms are the focus of most modern discoveries. (D) Scientists have learned all they can about cells at this point.
Multi-celled organisms are the focus of most modern discoveries. so (c) would be your answer
A is the right one. Just a few years ago we couldn't look at the parts in live cells. All we could loook at was fixed and dead. Fluorescent probes, confocal microscopes, high speed storage, it's all made studying cells a LOT easier. We can even watch chemical processes inside cells now. All thanks to new tools.
As technology improves, so will our understanding of cells. With the development of the electron microscope, we have been able to view the smallest of cells. Who knows, there might be many more smaller cells out there waiting to be discovered. In the 19th century, scientists barely had an idea about what a cell was. Two centuries later we have made significant progress in studying cells, their functions and organelles. In another century to come, we may discover many more microbes, cells, unicellular organisms etc.
so what was the correct answer may i ask?
As technology improves so will our understanding of cells.
