find an equation of the line tangent to the graph of f at (a, f(a)) for the given value of a. f(x) = 2x^2 + 3x - 2, a=0

a is actually x. First find the slope of the line at that point, which you can do by finding the derivative and then putting 0 into it. Then find the y value at the point, which you can do by putting 0 into the original function. Then you have the slope and a point which the tangent line passes through. I think you can do it from there.
