OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply the first equation by -1 all the way across and add to the second one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got no solution

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no you should get a solution. if you multiply the first one by -1 you get \[-x+5y=43\] and the second one is \[2x-5y=-41\] if you add the two you get \[x=2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i now have A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no it is not A because you solved for x and x is the first coordinate, not the second one. it should be (2,9)
