There are too many users so the servers get slow. The moderators are probably working on this problem.

wayy too many users.. like in math for example, there are about 200+ students online for math help/tutoring that the math section is dead slow. at one point of the day the slowness would creep out of the math section and infect each and every section... not soon after, the entire site will be as slow as an old snail. this process probably ends at around 6 in the morning.
