So I have to give a speech in my english class about who I am. I can't just say my name, age, grade, stuff about my family, etc. The speech has to be really deep and who I really am. My teacher said he wouldn't guide us through on this speech. SO CAN ANYONE SUGGEST WHAT I SHOULD SAY IN THIS SPEECH? thanks!

Probably nothing political or controversial if this is a private school. Perhaps you may want to tell an anecdotal story or why you believe in something.

Tell a story about the best day of your life. It can be totally fabricated but also share alot of the things you like to do. For example:" I woke up on a sunny day at the crack of noon. (I hate mornings) I had leftover pizza and bear nuts. Since I do not do breakfast, I was just in time for lunch." Have fun with it..You will do great.

Think of something you are passionate about, and weave a story around it. Even if it is how you love Harry Potter, or soccer. How did you get into it, what have you learned about yourself, tell us an incident ... you can embellish a little for poetic license. This is a great practice for those college essays.

Stories are the best for a speech to give to a general audience. Write down thinks you like to do, events that have changed you, persons who have impressed you. You came to be by things that influenced you for a 5 minute speech, you only need 2 or 3 stories.; See if you can remember three of them that kind of tie together and make you ho you are today.
