OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats your question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need you to help me understand how to do questions like this: what percent of 40 is 25?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

with thes always divide the smallest by the largest then multiply by 100

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do i set it up?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

= 62.5 %

OpenStudy (anonymous):

25/40 x 100 =62.5 %

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it be 25/40 x x/100?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

think of it as you got 25/40 on an exam. Then multiply your answer by 100 to turn it into a percentage.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would i multiply 25 x 100 and 40 x 100 then divide by 100?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

too keep it simple small / large multiplied by 100 = answer (in percentage) practice that it is the easiest way.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no problem jared
