Which country is leading disruption in ed tech today? Which country is leading disruption in ed tech today? @Change: Education…
Pretha, This is Bill Wendt. I heard your presentation a year ago at the SALT conference in Arlington, Va. I think that this thing of Open Study is beginning to work. I may try to use it in one of my classes in the Summer or Fall. Still working at all this technology, as are you. Bill
Thanks Bill. Look forward to working with you.
Just joined this group. I think there is a lot of disruption happening in India on the policy side, connected devices and overall infrastructure. It is early days though!
In Andalusia (Spain) there is a great initiative that started in 2003. All public schools have IT infraestructure and Open Source software inside their computers (4.000 schools). All is managed from a center departament called CGA, you can see some information about the project here http://www.canonical.com/about-canonical/resources/case-studies/andalusia-deploys-220000-ubuntu-desktops-schools-throughout-r or here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CGA_%28Advanced_Management_Centre%29 (it is an old versión)
USA is leading in my view. Sites like Coursera, MIT UCW etcetera are all work of some creative Americans.
