Here is another absolute value equation, I am not sure how to deal with the neg. outside the absolute value signs.
- l 3x+5 I = 4

typically you want to isolate your abs value expression, so mult by -1 to get

|3x+5|=-4

There is no solution to this equation since the absolute value can't be negative. Remember that absolute value means distance.
