Re: the magnetic top (lecture 18): when N in the top approaches the coil, why is S set up in the coil? I understand that current can only flow in one direction so only S poles can be formed. But according to Lenz's Law, shouldn't S be set up in the coil when N in the top moves AWAY from the coil? Many thanks! :)
