How do you graph the equations |x| + |y| < 5 and |x| + |y| > 2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

|x|+|y| = c just forms a diamond with points (-c,0),(0,-c),(0,c),(c,0) so if you want the first one, you want all values inside of the diamond with c=5 for the second one you want all values outside of the diamond with c=2
