The first statement is the given. 3 is equal to 2 because they are vertical angles. 3 and 5 are supplementary because they are the same side interior angles. l is parallel to m because of some theorem, can't remember the exact name, but it states that if the same side interior angles add up to 180, then the lines must be parallel.
