Pi is the ratio of the diameter to the circumference of a circle. If you have a circle, and its diameter is m, it's circumference (perimeter) will be \[\pi*d\]

Pi is an irrational number. I believe it is a ratio with relation to the diameter and circumference of circles. Only digits I know are 3.1415 but it goes on forever.
