Out of context, it's difficult to tell, but I think you have a velocity formula. Velocity=acceleration*position-initial velocity

It says that i have to solve for 'x', but it doesn't give any numbers. :x

Well, I guess you can just isolate x. ax-n=v ax=v+n x=(v+n)/a
