There isn't really work to determine if a set of points represents a function or not as far as I know. Basically you just need to look at the points and see if an x value has more than one y value to go along with it. If so, its not a function. If there is only one y value for each given value of x it is. So since There are no similar x values given, you can assume it is a function.
