i started learning assembly language using Art of assembly book, what assembler should i use ? i am using windows PC x86 chip set

You could google for the string "open source x86 assembler" if you're sitting at a computer with web access. Two that I know of are MASM from Microsoft, which is packaged with Visual Studio, and NASM, which is free software. It looks like you can get a free download of Visual Studio from microsoft.com.
