can someone show me how to do this please. i really dont know how to do it The half-life of carbon14 is 5,730 years. If a fossil is determined to have a carbon-14 amount corresponding to 4 half-lives, what is the approximate age of the fossil? 22,000 years 35,000 years 17,000 years 29,000 years

hey u have 100 % today so after 5730 yrs wt will be 50 % after another 5730 years 25% then 5730 years 12.5% then 5730 yrs 6.25% then 5730 yrs 3.125% thne 5730 yrs 1.5625% so on.

It says it's corresponding to 4 half-lives, not that it has 1/8 of the original amount. It's ~22,000 years
