If a whole number ends in 2,4,6,8,0 it's divisible by 2; If it ends in a 5 or a 0, it's divisible by 5 If it ends with a 0, it's divisible by 10 (also 2 and 5) If the sum of the digits is divisible by 3, the number is divisible by 3 If the sum of the digits is divisible by 9, so is the number (also divisible by 3)

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

is there a rule for if a number is divisible by seven?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There is but I can't remember it. I just use long division if it's too big a number.
