Can someone help me with the difference between prokaryotes and eukaryotes. Do they both have a cell membrane?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Both prokaryotes and eukaryotes have cell membranes. What prokaryotes don't have but eukaryotes do are membrane bound organelles. For example, prokaryotes will not have a nucleus.

Thanks for your help!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Prokaryotic lack a membrane bounded nucleus, also prokayotic cells evolved first and are miniscule in sie compared to eukaryotic cells.
