find the polynomial function with roots .1, –2, and 5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when you have the roots, that's the same as x=1 x=-2 x=5 So to start, you write them as a function. (x-1)(x+2)(x-5) Then you just FOIL (x-1)(x+2) then distribute (x-5) through.
