hey can any one tell me how to convert stuff like gallons to something? im having a hard time

type "Convert gallons to ounces" and it will do it automatically.

Of course, to actually learn how to do it quickly by hand, you have to understand how we can use ratios and canceling like terms. :)

Hi. Yes, so far so good.

1 km = 1000 m
1 m = 100 cm

So multiply 1000 x 100 and that's how many cm are in a km. :)
