if T is the point at the given distance on the unit circle C from P(1,0) determine the quadrant in which T lies: 7(pi)/4 please explain in detail and possibly draw a graph??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anything else mam ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um no that's all the problem provides

OpenStudy (amistre64):

how far around a circle is 7pi/4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats wat im trying 2 figure out idk how to do it :S

OpenStudy (amistre64):

it would help to know what 7pi/4 was as a degree prolly; since it got a pi; divide it out; 7pi/4 * 180/pi = degrees

OpenStudy (amistre64):

another trick is to recall that a complete circle is 2pi; or rather 8pi/4 around; so this is pi/4 short of that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so this is just a guess would it be in quadrant II?
