so i need another more detailed answer. what exactly is slope? like i seriously don't get it.
slope is the diffeence in your two sets of corrdinates you take the first two coordinates and subtract them from the next two coordinates in reverse and it gives you the slope.
It's the rate of inclination or declination of a curve in a coordiante(2D) plane.
rise over run!
it's how steep something is. if you walk up a steep hill, its slope is high. because the amount of distance the hill rises is a lot bigger than the horizontal distance it covers
slope of a line gives an idea of how slant the line is. the higher the slope, the steeper the line and vice versa. its measured numerically by the difference in vertical coordinates over the difference in corresponding horizontal coordinates... rise over run
Just to add something that may effect your later studies... You loose slope in everything! college algebra, calculus...etc everything. It is a very important thing in math. Dont forget about it and know the forumlas for slope intercept, a point slope, finding a slope and everything!
I meant use. Im not sure why I put loose.
