jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):
3x-5y=-10
3(-3-2y)-5y=-10
3(-3-2y)-5y=-10
-9-6y-5y=-10
-11y-9=-10
-11y=-10+9
-11y=-1
y=(-1)/(-11)
y=1/11
------------------------
Now that we know that y = 1/11, we can use it to find x
x = -3-2y
x = -3-2(1/11)
x = -3-2/11
x = -33/11-2/11
x = -35/11
So the solutions are x = -35/11 and y = 1/11
