I want to say its wood. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u be recommend a specific wood? I've heard less dense woods are the best insulators

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Balsa :) try that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wood or any organic substance actually is a good insulator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

any specific organic substances? im doing a scioly event and we're asked to construct an insulated device to conserve the heat of water for 20-40 minutes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cork would do fine as it has lot of air trapped in it and air itself is an insulator of heat.... (here I am guessing u r asking about heat insulation and not electric insulation...)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah im studying thermodynamics not electrical phenomena
