Can someone explain about the lymphatic system?

it is a system of lymph nodes and the like :D

It's part of the immune system, it's called what it is because it carries lymph throughout the body (clear fluid that i think comes from the tissues) and carries it to the heart and such. They swell when you are sick (tonsils, thymus, etc.)
