Your lap feels warms because your laptop computer has been sitting on top it. This is an example of: A. conduction B. radiation C. convection I think its A, but correct me if I'm wrong Your lap feels warms because your laptop computer has been sitting on top it. Most of it is because of conduction. (Although in truth its all of them.)

OpenStudy (yash2651995):

convection... our leg though are in contact with laptop.. but not heated part ie chip-sets mother board esp. processor... that's why cpu fans/here laptop's fans drive all the heat out.. to the plastic base of laptop and our legs... conduction because the heat transferred directly through body to legs radiation.. because chps are warm and they heat up legs (i feel it is quite negligible in quantity) I AGREE ITS ALL THREE IN REAILTY

OpenStudy (yash2651995):

to me, its mostly CONVECTION (chips to base) and radiation (chips to legs) then conduction (base to legs).

I think we were considering the laptop to be a single dense object that was hot.
