What situation will result in a final answer of No Solutions when using Cramer's Rule?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D=0 will lead you to say that the eqns hav no common root. As x=Dx/D and y=Dy/D, if D=0, then x and y become N.D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the answer is... only d will equal zero? or is it only Dx and Dy will equal zero.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No The former one!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

only d will equal zero?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank You

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Np, hope that helped!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It did. I always get confused with the no solution and infinitely many solutions!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Infinitely many sols when all are zero!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I see. thank you
