How do you describe exponentially?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I guess... Increasingly? If something grows exponentially, it increases by a greater and greater amount with each increment. For example, f(x) = x^2: 1 2 4 16 256 65,536 4,294,967,296 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 and so on. As opposed to f(x) = x*2: 1 2 4 8 16 32 64 128 256 512 1024 2048 and so on.
