2 vectors in the plane help to stabalize a surface. All you really need is 3 noncolinear points and that in itself creates 2 vectors in the plane
the perp vector, also called the normal, i used as the perp to ALL the vectors in the plane since it is 90 degrees to the surface
consider the equation \[[a(3,0,1)+b(1,-1,1)]\cdot (1,2,0)=0\]
