If a country were to go through a famine would its dollar (or whatever currency it uses) fall or would the famine not affect it whatsoever?

As the country will be facing the Famine the Production of the country will come down and due to which they will need to import the essential goods from other countries and so, thay will need to pay in foreign currency. As the payment will be done in foreign currency the Forex Reserve of the country will decline and due to this the value of the Domestic Currency Will get depriciated !
