Why do you think that the Sons of Liberty arranged to have 3 riders warn that the British were advancing?

i think two big reasons are, 1) They wanted to make sure as many people could find out as quickly as possible, and obviously, the more people you have, the more people can be warned. And 2) They couldn't be 100% sure that the riders they chose may not decide (or have been) to be loyalists all of a sudden, and there was also the risk of them being captured, since there had been British troops there for some time obviously, so they were basically making sure they had more than one person, in case something were to happen to one of them.
