I need some ideas for a plot line for a children's story. When I say "children's story", I mean like 5 or 6 years old. Nothing complicated. I've been racking my brain for about 3 weeks just trying to come up with ideas and none of them are any good. Please, please, please help me out!

I'll try and take a stab at it. A common story cliche I've found these days is the idea that something has been stolen from the protagonist or a supporting character. It might be a good idea to expand upon that as they go on a journey to discover who or what took this item. Not sure if this will help you or not, but that's my two cents.
