if you can find a ratio of what your looking to convert from and to, its just a matter of multipling by the ration

google says 1 liter is about 1.057 quarts, so x = 1.057 in the conversion

what is the conversion of 5 eggs in seashells? if the conversion rate is 3 eggs = 20 seashells we get:

which the "eggs" cancel and we are left with 5*20/3 seashells for a conversion
