ok so lets say you wanted to find like the r^2 values like you would on a graphing calculator...can you do that on excel???

what do you mean by find the r^2 values? you talking about the scatter plot again i assume

the square of the difference between the plot and the fitted graph

subtact your plot value from your graph value and square it

if you know your plot values; the horzontal axis goes into the equation for the graph; and you compare that output to the plots vertical part ... if theres a smoother way to do it I aint got a clue
