i gots no idea what the conversion ratio is from ounces to puounds ... but if i did it go:

3 3/4 lbs    n ounces
-------- * -------- = 3 3/4 * n ounces
      1            1 lb

As an American living abroad, conversion between the outdated Imperial system that Americans use and the worldwide easier to use Metric system is extremely important. Yet ounces are still only an American thing. You should learn grams then everything is times 10, 100, 1000, etc. :)
