using the implicit differentiation how would you solve this? yx^3-cosxsiny=7x I dont get it!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y(prime)=(3/7)*yx^2

Think of y as a function of x. So think: y(x)*x^3-cosx*sin(y(x))=7x. So the y(x) forces you do do chain rule when you differentiate, right. Remember to use the product rule, too
