Whats the difference of chromosomes in G1 phase and G2 phase of the cell cycle?

chromosomes in G1 are N2 - meaning in humans 23X2 copies (maternal paternal)=46. as G2 is after s phase when replication occurs they are N4 - 23X4 , before cytokinesis will reduce the number again
