In a triangle ABC, angle B is 4 times angle A and C is12 degrees less than 5times angle A. Can someone help me find the size of the angles. I am confused.

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

you are given these facts: B=4A C=5A-12 you also know the sum of the angels of a triangle is 180, so: A+B+C=180 you therefore have 3 equations with 3 unknowns and should be able to solve it.

I as wondering how they got 180 degrees..OK thanks, I'll go from there and see what i come up with..

OpenStudy (asnaseer):

good luck!
