OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply both numerator and denominator by 1000 ul get -100000/3 now carry on with normal division

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How about type it out in a calculator and press "="

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have the answer, I just need to know how to get there. :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-100 X 1000/0.003 X 1000 = -100000/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

= 33333.33...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So how do I get to multiplying it by -10000 is there any rules for dividing larger decimals from smaller decimals?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it makes ur calculation easier if you remove decimal from the denominator.. as 0.003 X 1000 = 3

Ah thanks
