A rigid T consist of a long rod glued perpendicular to another rodof length l that is pivoted at the origin. The T rotates around ina horizontal plane with constant frequency ω. A mass m is freeto slide along the long rod and is connected to the intersection ofthe rods by a spring with spring constant k and relaxed lengthzero. Find r(t), where r is the position of the mass along the longrod. There is a special value of ω, what is it, and why is it special? http://s3.amazonaws.com/answer-board-image/628ae3fdb906a2b8b95fb53923eb34c7.jpg for picture of the situation
is this math or physics?
physics but its more or less just doing math in this question.
As Lagrange's method is used for optimization with constraints
in calculus so this just looks insane to me
right. Its finding L=T-V where T is equation for kinetic and V is the Potential energy
so once you know the equation its doable.. But finding the correct Lagrangian is hard
what does L stand for
the Lagrangian
PHOEEE.... i dont know zucchini.. i only got the simple lagrange.. from calc 3.. but i really dont know how to solve this one.. sorry
k thanks for checking it out though ;)
