simplify sqrt 108x^3y^8
what happens to exponents when you take the square root, do you know?
what are those weird things after the 108x?
exponents presumably that is the meaning of the ^ symbol
And for TuringTest, if you have a square root (25), and you stick it inside the square root thing, then you say, oh there are (5) and(5) inside 25! For every pair of the same number, just pick one.
And just for the general site, what is with the levels of the math group you are in?
108x^3y^8=\[108x^3y^8\] @Bokshil yes that is basically how we deal with the coefficients aspect of simplification, but I was trying to see if the questioner know how to take the square root of x^5
oh. Sorry. I'm new to this site. By the way, do you know if he/she is even trying to reply?
