Well... first we need to define what life is. I believe from a molecular level it is when "something" have the abillity of metabolism. The reason i say "something" is becuase i won't use the word organism, organism is a "something" that have life. Now I would not say this is the ultimate definition. If we accepct this as a temporary defination, we can more easily answer the question:
What makes a cell living? The cellmetabolism does. Becuase of the chemical reaction. these chemical reactions consists of anabolism, the process where energy is consumed to synthesize or combine simple compounds into more complex organic compounds such as enzymes and nucleic acids, and catabolism, The process where complex molecules are broken down to liberate energy.
Without the abillity to do metabolism, "life" won't evolve. And that strengthens my definition, becuase life as we know it have always changed. From the first cell to the uncountable number of cells today. But again, we need a definition of life to answer this question.

How about coincidences? The chemical reactions can be done by for example a lightning. A meteor hits the earth, perhaps there was organisms in it.
Love on the other hand is not a life-developing factor. When we look at humans love plays a part. But if we look at the cells we see them "devour" other cells and then integrate its organelles with its own. Can we call this love? I won't answer that becuase i don't have a good definition of love. But i do know that love is not about "eating/killing" living organisms and then use it to develup and live!

Ya ! lov is not in killing someone for our taste or hunger, which never ends.....
Lov is also not to live but to share tears, even death if needed..... Lov is what helps a mother to feel pain to give birth to a baby, she knows she can die too in that process but its lov that gives her hope to hope 4 something more than just living

Well a experiment have shown that a lighning that hit a "swamp-environment" with the gases the atmosphere consisted of at the time (methane, ammonia, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulphide) and some heat, is able to create amino acids. The first experiment (that was a basic version) was able to create 11 of the 20 amino acids. The reconstruction consisted of sparking electrodes that should represent the primeval lightning storms, and heat from a Bunsen burner to represent the sun's warm rays.
